Surface Pro with LTE expected to release on December 1

Microsoft is reportedly launching an LTE Surface Pro on December 1, 2017, that will work in any country.

When Microsoft announced the Surface Pro, the company also said that an LTE version will be also available at some point. However, now, it seems that consumers will be able to buy a Surface Pro with LTE starting December 1.

Although the software maker has yet to make the official announcement, a new report from Neowin reports that Microsoft revealed the December 1 release date during a session at Ignite 2017.

Though, Microsoft is expected to officially unveil its Surface Pro with LTE connectivity during the company’s Future Decoded event in London happening from October 31 to November 1 in London.

During the Ignite session, it was also revealed that the LTE modem inside the Surface Pro is a Snapdragon X16 modem that supposed to work in any country and on any carrier that has certified LTE connectivity.

Update October 31, 2017: Microsoft confirms that the LTE version of Surface Pro will be available in December 1.
