Microsoft to offer cheaper Surface RT Touch Cover on August 30th

Following recent Surface RT and Surface with Windows 8 Pro price cut, Microsoft is yet doing another price reduction to stimulate inventory sales. This time, according to WPCentral, the company will slash $40 on the Touch Cover, going from its original prices of $119.99 to $79.99.

The new price seems to be permanent and not just a limited time promotion, and it is likely that customers will see the new price tag starting August 30th.

The new Touch Cover price will be reflected when buying the accessory separate or in a bundle. Microsoft has recently slash $150 of Surface RT, which means that customers will pay $428.99 for the 32GB model and $528.99 for the 64GB model of the tablet — way cheaper than it was before, so if you’ve been waiting to get a Surface, August 30th, may just be the right time.
