Watch Microsoft’s Surface tablet unveiling event in Los Angeles

Microsoft revealed Surface, a new member to the Windows PC hardware family, yesterday in a new press event in Los Angeles. The slick new Surface tablet runs on Windows RT or Windows 8, both with different hardware configuration depending on the flavor of Windows and productivity you want to have.

The company also showed off a few more things, such as two new smart covers with an embedded keyboard underneath and in a variety of colors that Windows 8 can detect and match on the screen, a new stylus companion to write with e-ink, the super-thin and steady kickstand, and, for the first time, the software maker demo the upcoming Netflix app exclusively for Windows 8. If you want to see the Surface tablet in action, all it can do and how it came to be, watch the full video from the Microsoft’s keynote event.
