Yes, it should worked just OK as long you have the networked printer is already installed in your computer with the correct drivers.
I did my test with a networked printer and it worked just fine.
PS: Remember that for now you only are going to be able to do this in Windows.

Sorry to hear that. I know that you may already done this, but did you make sure you are using Google Chrome version 9.0.597.10? Also check if you have anything enabled when you go to the address bar and type About:flags , I had some problems when I enabled some experimental features. This kind of problems are expected when we are dealing with beta products. I hope your problem gets solved soon, best regards!]]></description>
