Microsoft is gearing up to make test build 17133 the final version that users will be getting as the Windows 10 Spring Creators Update. According to a new report from Windows Central, Microsoft is preparing build 17133 as the released to manufacturers (RTM) build and the version that will ship in new devices and the version that will be available through the Windows Update.
If everything is going according to plan, this will be the build that Microsoft will be pushing security and performance update during the lifecycle of version 1803.
The report also notes that Windows 10 build 17133 is expected to become available in the Fast ring during the last week of March. Days after, it’ll appear in the Slow ring, and then it should also become available in the Release Preview ring too.
In the case there are bugs or unknown issues after releasing build 17133, Microsoft will be addressing these issues through quality update slightly incrementing the build number. For example, build 17133.10, 17133.15, etc.
According to the same report, Microsoft plans to officially launch the Windows 10 Spring Creators (version 1803) on April 10, which happens to be a Patch Tuesday schedule.
Similar to previous releases, the company will start rolling version 1803 to slowly updating newer devices known to work this Spring Creators Update first, and then it’ll continue to update other devices.
