Microsoft begins the roll out of Windows 10 build 15042 for PCs enrolled in the Fast ring. This new release part of the Creators Update includes a small number of features, improvements, and an extensive list of bug fixes over the previous build.

Perhaps the most interesting part about build 15042 is that Microsoft has removed the watermark in the bottom-right corner, which indicates that all the features are locked-in and the OS is nearly finalized.

What’s new on Windows 10 build 15042

Windows 10 build 15042, according to the company, adds a few improvements to Microsoft Edge, Cortana animation in the out-of-box-experience gets updated, and a slew of bug fixes.

In this new flight, Microsoft Edge adds a pop-up dialog to make it clear when Flash content has been blocked. If you want to run the Flash content, simply click the puzzle icon and allow the content.

The browser is also getting some tweaks for the new ebook reading experience, including a new icon when reading locally stored epub books. Flipping pages while an EPUB book is being read aloud, the reader will now jump to that new location in the book, and read aloud settings will be preserved when returning to the book.

Windows 10 Mobile gets build 15043

Alongside the Windows 10 build 15042 for PC, Microsoft is also rolling out Windows 10 Mobile build 15043, but it doesn’t include new features. This release for mobile devices includes improvements for video playback while using Continuum over Miracast and a long list of bug fixes.

Windows 10 build 15042 and Windows 10 Mobile build 15043 is available immediately through the Fast ring. It’ll download and install automatically on your device, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update and clicking the Check for updates button.

Microsoft is expected to officially release the Windows 10 Creators Update in April 2017.
