Windows 10 build 21327 outs in the Dev Channel

Windows 10 build 21327 introduces new system icons using the Fluent Design style, updated News and interests with new design, and more.

Microsoft is now making available Windows 10 build 21327 for devices enrolled in the Dev Channel of the Windows Insider Program. This is preview number 63 available for testers, and it is a small update with some visual changes and improvements.

According to the company announcement, build 21327 ships with new system icons using the new font Segoe Fluent Icons that align with the Microsoft Fluent Design style. Starting with this flight, you will see the new iconography using more rounded corners and simple design across the Settings app and Start menu.

In this preview, the 64-bit version of PowerShell will be the new default architecture for ARM64 devices.

Windows 10 build 21327 also includes a new design experience for the “News and interests” taskbar widget, which according to the company, “makes it even more delightful to scan and interact with the headlines and stories in your feed.”

Furthermore, when clicking the “See more news” button, the experience that opens in the browser has also been redesigned to help you catch up with the latest headlines. In the widget and the browser, you will also find new ways to share and react to the stories with emojis.

In addition to new visual changes for the modern interface and improvements, this Insider build includes a slew of fixes to address problems with the Start menu and apps’ reliability. There are fixes for the touch keyboard, clipboard history, display, gaming, and resolves Blue Screen of Death (BSoD), freezes, and more.

The build 21327 preview is available immediately through the Dev Channel, and it will install automatically. However, you can always get it manually from Settings Update & security > Windows Update and clicking the Check for updates button.

Update March 8, 2021: Microsoft is pushing the update KB5001277 as build 21327.1010 to testers, but the update does not include new. It is only designed to test the servicing pipeline.
