Tech Recap: Windows 10 Creators Update, Xbox One, Android O

Windows 10 Creators Update confirmed for April 11, but you actually get it now. Xbox One Creators Update rolls out. Android O now available as preview, and more.

This week on PUREinfoTech: Microsoft confirms that the Windows 10 Creators Update (version 1703) will start rolling out to PCs starting April 11th. However, if you want to upgrade now, the company also released the ISO files for Windows 10 build 15063, through the Slow ring of the Insider testing program. Alternatively, you can install new feature update now using the Release Preview ring ahead of the official release.

The software maker also revealed that users will be able to use the “Windows 10 Update Assistant” to upgrade to version 1703 starting on April 5th.

In addition, the Windows 10 Creators Update for PC and Mobile received the first cumulative update, which addresses a few issues bumping the build number to 15063.11 and 15063.2 respectively.

This was a big week for Xbox One too, as Microsoft also began the rollout of the Creators Update for its game console bringing a slew of new features and improvements.

If you’re an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, you can now download the free games part of the Game with Gold program for April 2017.

Finally, this week I added the download links to get the new Windows 10 Creators Update hero wallpapers.
