Weekly Digest: Windows 10 rollout halted, new Surface devices, tech tips

In case you missed it, Microsoft halts Windows 10 version 1809 rollout, new Surface devices ready for preorder, more tips to get the most out of your PC.

This week on Pureinfotech: Microsoft officially releases the Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809) for PCs on October 2, but on October 6, the company stopped the rollout due to a critical bug that was deleting user’s personal files.

Although the October 2018 Update currently has serious problems, the new version packs a slew of improvements and several new features, and in this video walkthrough, you can learn everything there’s to know about the new version. Also, this video highlights the seven best features of version 1809.

As part of the 19H1 development, Windows 10 build 18252 made its way to the Fast ring and the Skip Ahead with a few improvements and new features.

During a new press event, Microsoft unveiled its new Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, and Surface Studio 2, which are now ready for preorder. Also, the company revealed the Surface Headphones, a $350 pair of headphones that includes six levels of noise cancelation.
