In case you missed it, Microsoft announces Windows 11 SE and Surface Laptop SE, Windows gets updated, and more tips to get the most out of your PC.

This week on Pureinfotech: Microsoft announced Windows 11 SE, a new variant of the original release of Windows 11 tweaked for the education market. In addition, the company revealed the Surface Laptop SE, a new low-end device with an Intel Celeron processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage to run the SE variant of the OS.

The Mozilla Firefox web browser finally arrived at the Microsoft Store for Windows 11 users. The company made the decision to join the store after Microsoft made changes to its policies.

Windows 11 build 22499 was released in the Dev Channel with a new feature to share a window in a video call directly from the Taskbar. In addition, the company made available the ISO file to test this build performing a clean installation or in-place upgrade.

As part of the November Patch Tuesday update, the original version of Windows 11 received the update KB5007186 to address a few problems, and then update KB5007262 was released shortly after as a preview with a slew of fixes expected to arrive during the next cumulative update. Furthermore, Windows 10 21H1, 20H2, and 2004 received another monthly patch to fix several problems.

This week, the Surface Laptop 4 and Surface Studio 1st Gen received a new firmware update to address performance issues and graphics.

Microsoft is expected to start its Black Friday sales event on November 19 with big discounts on Surface devices, Windows 11 computers, and Xbox games and accessories.

Finally, Windows 11 22H2 isn’t expected to arrive until the fall of 2022, but some of the changes planned for the first feature update are already available through the Dev Channel, and you can see everything that Microsoft has been working so far in this guide.
