Microsoft rolls out new Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 Preview for Developers update

Microsoft quietly pushes new update for handsets running Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 Preview for Developers, bumping the version to 8.10.14157.200.

For those who still encountering the error 0x80188308, the company has stated that the new update doesn’t fix the issue. However, Microsoft is working to release yet another update soon to resolved the specific error message users are getting.

The update is available immediately and those registered using the Microsoft’s App Studio program can install the new bits going to the “phone update” section in Settings.

Even though this is a relatively small update, Microsoft has yet to release the changelog. Many users are hopeful that this roll out will fix the BitLocker issue that is preventing the Cyan update. Though, I’m hearing that the Windows Phone 8.1 version 8.10.14157.200 only brings bug fixes.
