Xbox One July 2017 update brings custom gamepics, co-streaming, and more

Xbox One owners can now use custom Gamepics, co-stream on Mixer, and link controller to their profiles with the July update.

Microsoft is now pushing a new system update for Xbox One consoles bringing a number of new features and improvements. Starting with the July 2017 update, it’s finally possible to add custom images on Gamepics, Clubs and Club backgrounds. You can do this using the console, or through the Xbox app for Windows 10, iOS, and Android.

On Mixer, the update now offer co-streaming that lets you broadcast gameplay online with up to three friends using the Microsoft streaming service.

Xbox One update for July 2017 also adds the ability to link your profile with your controller to sign-in automatically when you press the Xbox button in the controller. This is a particular useful feature when sharing the console with other people in the house. Otherwise, you can always set to automatically sign you in using any controller when your Xbox One starts.

Additionally, this rollout also brings interface improvements to Microsoft’s Arena feature, and the LFG (Looking for Groups) experience is getting some tweaks for mobile apps. Furthermore, on Android, the Xbox app is getting Chat Bubbles, a new feature that allows you to keep chatting while you’re playing mobile games or using other apps.

July’s system update for Xbox One is rolling out to everyone now, according to Microsoft. It’ll install automatically, but you can always force the update going to Settings > System > Console info & updates > Update console and click Start update.
