Xbox One X preorders are open now in the United States at the Microsoft Store, BestBuy, Walmart, Amazon, and other retailers. If you’re located in the UK, you can also preorder at the Microsoft Store and Amazon.

The Xbox One X is tout as “the most powerful console ever” with 6 teraflops of graphical horsepower, custom eight-core processor, and 12GB of memory allowing the best gaming experience featuring true 4K gaming and video playback. (Additional Xbox One X tech specs details here.)

In addition, Microsoft is working with game studios to make sure that current Xbox One titles are optimized to take advantage of the Xbox One X graphics power. According to the company the enhancements on games will be available at no extra cost for existing owners of the game.

The special edition of Xbox One X is price the same as the regular edition at $499, but if you want one, you better act fast, because it’s only available while supply last during the preorder period, and when they’re gone, they’re gone forever.
