  • The Windows 11 update KB5067115 (builds 26220.7051 for version 25H2 and 26120.7051 for version 24H2) introduces Ask Copilot in the Taskbar, Shared Audio via Bluetooth LE, and expands the Xbox Full Screen Experience to more handheld devices.
  • It also improves ARM64 Prism emulation for better x64 app compatibility and fixes issues across the Start menu, File Explorer, Settings, and Lock screen.

Microsoft has released Windows 11 build 26220.7051 as the update KB5067115 for version 25H2 through the Dev and Beta Channels of the Windows Insider Program. This preview brings new features, changes, and fixes for existing experiences.

At the same time, Windows 11 24H2 is getting build 26120.7051, with the knowledge base number (KB5067115), as version 25H2, with the same improvements in the Beta Channel, because they are identical operating systems.

According to the new announcements, the Windows 11 update KB5067115 rolls out a preview of a new search experience that uses Copilot AI alongside Windows Search to improve the experience.

In addition, this update expands the Xbox Full Experience for other handheld devices, aside from the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X and Xbox Ally. Furthermore, this update introduces the ability to share audio using Bluetooth LE Audio broadcast technology.

Finally, this release adds new processor features to Prism’s ARM-based emulator (Copilot+ PCs), which allows the company to enable emulation for 64-bit x86 (x64) apps by default.

What’s new on Windows 11 KB5067115 for versions 25H2 and 24H2

These are the latest changes that Microsoft has been working on for Windows 11 25H2 and 24H2.

Ask Copilot in the Taskbar

Starting with builds 26220.7051 and 26120.7051, Windows 11 introduces a new “Ask Copilot” experience that essentially replaces the Windows Search box in the Taskbar with Copilot. This allows you to use AI for searching files, settings, and apps, as well as virtually anything else, and you can also access Copilot Vision and Voice.

This is an opt-in feature, and you can turn it on from Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Ask Copilot. Microsoft says that you can also manage whether Copilot launches automatically by using the “Auto start on login” option in the Copilot app settings.

Xbox Full Screen Experience

Microsoft is also expanding its Xbox Full Screen Experience to more handheld devices. Initially, the full-screen experience was only available for the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X and Xbox Ally gaming PCs, but now, other handheld devices can access this experience.

The new feature transforms your handheld into a more console-like device using the Xbox app in full screen, optimizes the operating system for gaming performance, and adds an easy way to switch between the desktop and console-like experience.

You can enable the experience in Settings > Gaming > Full-screen experience, then select Xbox as your main application. After turning on the feature, you can access the experience from Task View and the Game Bar, or configure your handheld to enable the full-screen experience on startup.

Microsoft notes that this preview is currently expanding to MSI Claw models, and additional handhelds will come in future updates. However, it’s possible to force the Full Screen Experience on any computer with these instructions.

Shared audio with Bluetooth

Another major addition with the release of update KB5067115 is the shared audio feature, which allows you to share the audio from your computer via Bluetooth LE Audio broadcast technology with another person.

To start using this feature, open the “Quick Settings” menu (Windows key + A), navigate to the “Shared audio” page, select the supported devices, and click the “Share” button.

Prism emulator update for ARM

Microsoft is expanding Prism’s emulation capabilities to support more processor features, enabling broader compatibility for 64-bit x86 (x64) apps on ARM-based devices. This enhancement applies automatically to all x64 apps under emulation. For 32-bit x86 apps, support can be manually enabled in the “Properties” window under “Emulation” settings.

Other fixes and changes

In addition to the new features and improvements, Windows 11 builds 26220.7051 and 26120.7051 ship various fixes, including:

  • Start menu: Fixed a bug where interacting with a folder or its contents in the Start menu could make the folder disappear.
  • File Explorer: Improved responsiveness when navigating network locations, reduced launch time, corrected the context menu icon for .exe, .cmd, and .bat files, addressed desktop icon movement during file interactions, and fixed tooltip visibility issues when navigating Home with a keyboard.
  • Lock Screen: Fixed a memory leak tied to slideshow lock screens that could degrade performance over time, and resolved slow login behavior when signing into a new account for the first time.
  • Settings: Fixed an issue where the Settings search box could overlap with the minimize and maximize buttons in the title bar.
  • Other: Fixed issues affecting USB device functionality, screen reader behavior (“legacy window” misreads), text rendering in multiline boxes, protected content playback failures, and reduced Ethernet upload speeds after recent updates.

Microsoft also notes known issues with these updates, including:

  • Taskbar: Microsoft is trying to resolve issues where the Start menu may not open on click, potentially affecting the Notification Center, and where some apps fail to appear in the system tray for certain Insiders.
  • File Explorer: In the dark mode version of the copy dialog, copy progress may flash when toggling detail views, and scaling text can cause the scrollbar and footer to disappear, replaced by a white block.
