Professional Journey
With a passion for technology that spans over two decades, I embarked on this journey in 2010, establishing Pureinfotech as a platform to share in-depth knowledge and guides about Windows, software, and various technologies. Also, I have contributed to Windows Central for over ten years, writing comprehensive guides and solidifying my commitment to the community.
I believe in lifelong learning and have studied, tested, and written about everything on Windows, software, and hardware.
Over a decade of experience in tech writing technical tutorials has given me the insight that both technology and its instruction can be easy to understand for anyone regardless of their technical level. To that end, I always enjoy seeking out and sharing the best configurations, hacks, tweaks, and recommendations.
Outside technology, I enjoy exploring and discovering new places, I love good food, and I enjoy long hikes.
IT administration background
Before transitioning into the realm of technology writing, I spent seven years working as an IT administrator in large area networks. This hands-on experience provided a foundational understanding of systems and networks, enriching my perspective as a technology writer.
Certifications and Recognition
Throughout my career, I have achieved different professional certifications from Microsoft (MSCA), Cisco (CCNP), VMware (VCP), and CompTIA (A+ and Network+), and I’ve been recognized as a Microsoft MVP, a recognition I’ve been honored to receive for multiple years.
Gear
My main workhorse is a custom desktop that I have built rocking an AMD 7950X, 96GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage using an NVMe G4 hard drive. My Android Pixel phone has been a constant companion for many years, and it helps me take amazing pictures everywhere I go.
On my desk, I also use the Logitech MX Master 3 mouse, Keycron Q3 keyboard, Blue Yeti microphone, and Kanto speakers.
Finally, I have a Logitech BRIO camera, and I love this device because it is among the few peripherals that include face recognition to sign into Windows.
Another fact about me is that I always build my own computers and spend countless hours researching each part to ensure they’re the right fit for the job.
