Free games with Gold for Xbox One program arrives in June

Microsoft announces this week that free games with Gold program is coming to Xbox One in June. The program that offers free games for Xbox 360 owners with an Xbox Live Gold membership started a year ago, but now the company is expanding the program to Xbox One owners as well. 

The announcement was revealed at Xbox Wire, which also mentions that Microsoft will kick-off the free games for Xbox One in June with two titles: “Halo: Spartan Assault” and “Max: The Curse of Brotherhood.”

The best of all is that for those customers who are proud owners of Xbox 360 and Xbox One will get start getting four games every months (two for each console). Also, to celebrate the first year of Games for Gold program, Microsoft is saying that it will offer three Xbox 360 games for June downloads, including: “Dark Souls”, “Charlie Murder”, and “Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition”.

On top of all these new benefits, the software maker also announced that Xbox One owners with an Xbox Live Gold membership will also receive special discounts on selected downloadable games as part of the Deals for Gold program, which will start in June.
