Microsoft Edge can now sync all your installed extensions across the devices where you’re signed in to with the Chromium version of the web browser.
The ability to sync extensions should be enabled by default, but if it’s not, you can enable or disable the feature from the profiles settings.
In this guide, you’ll learn the steps to enable (and disable) sync for extensions on Microsoft Edge.
How to enable sync extensions on Microsoft Edge
To sync Edge extensions across your devices, use these steps:
-
Open Microsoft Edge.
-
Click the Settings and More (three-dotted) button on the top-right corner.
-
Click on Settings.
-
Click on Profiles.
-
Click the Sync option.
-
Turn on the Extensions toggle switch.
Once you complete the steps, every time you install and configure a new extension, it’ll sync across your other devices where you also use Microsoft Edge.
How to disable sync extensions on Microsoft Edge
To prevent Microsoft Edge from syncing extensions, use these steps:
-
Open Microsoft Edge.
-
