UPDATED 11/13/2024: The Windows 11 build 27749 ISO file is now available for download through the Microsoft support website to test the latest features and improvements using a clean installation or in-place upgrade.

The company has released the official ISO file of Windows 11 in the Canary Channel to allow developers and enthusiasts access to the next enhancements coming in future releases of the operating system. The ISO contains the latest preview, which means this is not meant to perform an installation on your primary computer.

If you are already a member of the Windows Insider Preview program, you do not need to download the ISO file for build 27749 since you can use the “Windows Update” settings to download the most recent flight.

To download the latest preview build of Windows 11, you need to log in to this Microsoft support website. Once on the download page, choose the edition and click the Confirm button to download the file.

After downloading the official ISO file, use tools like Rufus to create a USB flash drive to install the operating system. Alternatively, you can mount the ISO to begin the setup if you plan an in-place upgrade.

Alongside the availability of build 27749, Microsoft is also making the same build as part of the Windows 11 24H2 in the Dev Channel.

If you are looking for the latest build release or any other build, it’s possible to create a custom ISO file using the UUP tool.
