What’s new on Windows 11 25H2 build 26200.5710

These are the latest changes that Microsoft has been working on for Windows 11 25H2.

AI image description for Intel and AMD Copilot+ PCs

Microsoft is now rolling out the new “Describe image” action for Click to Do, which uses AI to generate a description of an image, chart, or graph, for Copilot+ PCs featuring Intel and AMD processors.

When selecting this new action for the first time, the system will have to configure another AI model that works on the device to generate the information.

This feature is already available for devices using the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors with the release of build 26200.5702.

Additionally, the company is experimenting with removing the search box from the top bar for Click to Do.

Narrator with more AI integration

Similar to the Click to Do action, Windows Narrator can now generate descriptions for images to assist further users who are blind or have low vision.

When pressing the “Narrator key + Ctrl + D” shortcut, the Narrator will read out a contextual description of the image, including people, objects, colors, text, and numbers.

The feature was first available for Copilot+ PCs using Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, but it is now rolling out for Intel and AMD AI-powered processors.

Lock Screen widgets suggestions

Windows 11 build 26200.5710 also introduces a new “Discover widgets” toggle switch in Settings > Personalization > Lock screen, which periodically updates the experience with suggested widgets.

For example, this update fixes content getting clipped when showing the clock in the Notification Center, and addresses an issue with “dbgcore.dll,” which could cause crashes with “explorer.exe.”

While this build introduces some new improvements for version 25H2, it also brings several known issues across core experiences like Start menu, Xbox Controllers, Click to Do, Live Captions, and more.
