How to change ‘Sent from Mail for Windows 10’ for custom signature on Mail app

You’ve probably noticed the “Sent from Mail for Windows 10” text every time you compose a new email with the Windows 10 Mail app. This is actually the default signature configured on the app, because most users won’t remove or change it right away, Mail uses this signature to promote itself.

And it’s not just the Mail app, the Outlook app for your phone adds the “Get Outlook for Android”, and Apple uses “Sent from my iPhone” — just to name a few examples.

If you want to use your own signature or remove it completely, it’s possible to create or disable signature on the Mail app for Windows 10. You can do this for each account or you can apply the new settings to all account configured on your computer.

  4. Select the account you want to change signature from or check the Apply to all accounts option.

  5. Create your custom signature message using text, emojis, images, or links.

Once you completed the steps, every time you compose a new email or reply to a message only the new message will appear in the signature area.

If you want to remove “Sent from Mail for Windows 10” completely, you can turn off the Use an email signature toggle switch.
