UPDATED 1/8/2024: On Microsoft Edge, it’s possible to create multiple profiles, and in this guide, I will teach you the steps to complete this configuration. A profile is meant to share the browser with other users without interfering with your experience and information since every profile you add keeps all the info separate, such as history, favorites, passwords, and other settings.

However, you can also use the ability to create multiple profiles to use different Microsoft accounts and keep your things separate, such as personal and work.

In this guide, I’ll teach you how to create a new Microsoft Edge profile on Windows 11 or 10.

Create multiple profiles on Microsoft Edge

To create additional profiles on Microsoft Edge, use these steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Click the Settings and More (three-dotted) button on the top-right corner and select the Settings option.

  3. Click on Profiles.

  4. Click the Add Profile button on the top right.

  5. Click the Add button.

  6. Click the “Sign in to sync data” button or the “Start without your data” button if you don’t want to use the browser with a Microsoft account.

  7.  Complete the sign-in process.

Once you complete the steps, the new profile will open as an entirely different process, including its own settings, bookmarks, history, passwords, and cookies. It is also possible to manage and customize the profile with a new image, which you can do with these steps.

You can always repeat the instructions outlined above to create additional profiles.
