Windows 11 dark bloom with gold

Download Microsoft 50th anniversary Surface Laptop 7 wallpaper for Windows 11

You can now download the default wallpaper for Microsoft’s 50th anniversary limited-edition Surface Laptop 7.

The limited-edition laptop is only available to a select few winners of a special competition, features a gold Microsoft logo on the lid, and a retro 1975 logo inside. But the real gem? The 50th anniversary Bloom wallpaper.

Originally designed by Six N. Five, the Bloom wallpaper has been a visual staple of Windows 11 since its launch. This new variant, however, features a darker flower with gold accents that echo the laptop’s commemorative design.

This wallpaper ships exclusively with the 50th anniversary Surface Laptop 7, which also includes a custom firmware with a 50th anniversary boot logo.

This isn’t the first time that Microsoft has released a variant of the original Bloom wallpaper for Windows 11. In the past, the company has released a variant using a glass-like design for Windows 365 Link PC, another intricate patterns that look textured for Windows Server 2025, and many others.
