  • Remove built-in apps like Edge, OneDrive, Xbox, Copilot, Teams, and more.
  • Enable local account setup by bypassing the Microsoft account requirement.
  • I have tested these instructions in July 2026, and they remain accurate.

Tiny11 Builder lets you create a custom Windows 11 26H2 installation ISO that removes unnecessary apps, bypasses the Microsoft account requirement, and delivers a cleaner installation experience. In this guide, you’ll learn how to build your own debloated Windows 11 26H2 installation media.

It’s important to note that version 26H2 is still under development as of this writing, but you can create a custom image file from the latest preview, which you can download with the UUP Dump tool. Once the new version becomes fully available, you can download the ISO file from the Microsoft support website.

What is Tiny11 Builder?

Tiny11 Builder is a third-party script created by community developer @NTDEV that lets you customize and streamline Windows 11 installation media. Instead of downloading a prebuilt modified ISO, the tool uses an official Windows 11 ISO as its source and automatically creates a debloated version by removing many of the operating system’s built-in apps and components.

The resulting image is commonly referred to as a Tiny11 ISO, Windows 11 Tiny ISO, or Windows 11 Lite ISO.

During the build process, Tiny11 Builder can remove apps such as Clipchamp, News, Weather, Xbox, Get Help, Media Player, Quick Assist, OneDrive, Copilot, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and even Microsoft Edge. It also generates an unattended answer file that bypasses the Microsoft account requirement, allowing you to create a local account during setup. In addition, the tool enables Windows’ Compact OS deployment option to reduce the size of the installation and improve storage efficiency.

Why use Tiny11 Builder?

Windows 11 has been adding more features and preinstalled apps with each update, many of which aren’t essential for everyone. Tiny11 Builder gives you full control to create a customized and slimmed-down version of the operating system tailored to your specific needs.

It’s ideal for advanced users who prefer local accounts, minimal installations for performance or testing, virtual machines, older hardware setups, or those with privacy concerns.

In this guide, I will show you how to download and create a Tiny11 ISO (Lite ISO) for Windows 11 26H2.

Important: It’s recommended to create a backup of your computer before installing this custom version of Windows. You have been warned. Also, even though the tool hasn’t been updated since 2025, you can still use it for the upcoming Windows 11 versions 25H2 and 26H2, as they are virtually the same.

Quick tip: The folder includes two scripts, the “tiny11maker.ps1” that removes most default apps (recommended), and then there is the “tiny11Coremaker.ps1” script that debloats the operating system and removes Store components, disables Microsoft Defender Antivirus, and turns off the Windows Update system.
  35. Type “R” and press Enter.

  36. Confirm the drive letter for the Windows 11 mount point, then press Enter.

    Tiny11 Builder confirm drive letter

  37. Confirm the index number for the operating system edition to create the image, then press Enter.

Quick note: Since we’re using the UUP Dump script, you may only see one or two index options, whereas the official ISO file typically includes all editions of the operating system.
  38. Press Enter to complete the process and exit the script.

  39. Type the following command to set the more secure PowerShell execution policy and press Enter:

    Set-ExecutionPolicy Restricted

Once you complete the steps, the script will create a custom ISO file that you can use to perform a truly clean installation of Windows 11 26H2.

If you encounter an issue while running the UUP Dump script during the first part of these instructions, open the script folder, right-click the “Remove_Failure_MountDr_TempDir.cmd” file, and select “Run as administrator”. After the process completes, run UUP Dump one more time.

Also, ensure your device has sufficient free space for the script to process the files without issues or delays. Typically, the computer requires approximately 70 GB of free space on the primary drive.

Once you have the ISO file, you can mount it in a virtual machine or use tools like Rufus and Ventoy to create a bootable USB media.

Pureinfotech’s Take

I see Tiny11 Builder as a niche tool rather than something every Windows user should use. If your goal is to install Windows 11 on your main computer, I’d still stick with Microsoft’s official ISO. However, if you’re building a virtual machine, testing software, experimenting with the operating system, or simply want to see how Windows 11 runs without many of the built-in apps, Tiny11 Builder is a practical option.

Over the years, Windows has continued to ship with more preinstalled apps and services, and not everyone wants or needs them. Tiny11 Builder gives advanced users a straightforward way to trim down the installation without having to download a modified ISO from an unknown source. Just remember that removing components can affect compatibility, so I wouldn’t use a debloated installation on a production machine unless I understood the trade-offs.

Would you use a debloated version of Windows 11, or do you prefer Microsoft’s standard installation? Let me know in the comments.
