How to enable dark mode on Outlook for Android

Microsoft is adding a dark mode for its Outlook app on Android starting version 3.0.137. The new color theme not only makes it easy on the eyes, but the new color palette has also been designed to save battery on OLED screens.

How to enable dark theme on Outlook

Use these steps to switch from light to dark theme on Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook.

  2. Tap the menu (hamburger) button in the top-left corner.

  3. Tap the settings (gear) button in the bottom-left corner.

  4. Under the “Preferences” section, tap the Theme option.

  5. Select the Dark option.

Once you complete the steps, the Outlook app will switch to the dark color scheme.
