  • FlyOOBE lets you bulk-remove preinstalled Windows 11 apps and components.
  • Ideal for improving performance, privacy, and reducing bloat.
  • Use caution when uninstalling system components to avoid instability.

On Windows 11, you can use the FlyOOBE tool to debloat your Windows 11 installation, and in this guide, I’ll show you how to complete this process.

FlyOOBE (formerly Flyby11) is a popular third-party utility primarily designed to help you install or upgrade to Windows 11 on hardware that does not officially meet the minimum system requirements. It also includes other tools, including a debloat feature that lets you uninstall unwanted pre-installed apps and components.

If you want to improve your computer’s performance, you’re concerned about your privacy, or you prefer a leaner setup of the operating system, you can use this utility to remove built-in apps, such as Copilot, Weather, Microsoft Store, Microsoft Edge, Photos, OneDrive, Outlook, Xbox, and many more.

In this guide, I’ll outline the steps to use the FlyOOBE utility to debloat Windows 11.

Warning: Usually, it’s not recommended to use third-party tools or scripts to modify or debloat the operating system, as they can pose potential system instability. The FlyOOBE is a known utility, but you should still use it at your own risk. Also, consider creating a full backup before proceeding.

  11. Check the components you want to uninstall from Windows 11.

Quick tip: The components are listed using the system names (such as, Microsoft.WindowsCamera, instead of Camera). If you’re not sure about a component, you can always search online for additional details. Unless you know what you’re doing, it’s recommended to only uninstall applications, not system components.
  12. Click the “Remove Selected Apps” button.

Once you complete the steps, the components you selected will be removed from the operating system.

Although the operating system allows you to uninstall many of the built-in applications, remember that some components are necessary for optimal system operation. If you remove them, it may cause unexpected behaviors.
