In Windows 8, Administrative Tools (Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, Computer Management, Services, Task Scheduler, etc.) are not displayed by default in the new Start Screen. If you are a tech savvy you may use these tools quite often, well then here I am going to show you a quick way to display these tools. Follow these 2 easy steps to display Administrative Tools in the Start Screen:
1. Use the + C bring the Charms Bar and click on Settings.
2. From the Start menu, click on Settings and then swipe to Yes the Show administrative tools option.
That’s all there is to it. Now go back to the Windows 8 Start Screen and all Administrative Tools should be listed.
