Although the Microsoft Lists tool doesn’t have a native desktop app for Windows 11 (or 10), it’s still possible to install the tool as a Progressive Web App (PWA) through Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, and in this guide, you will learn how.

Microsoft has made its task management tool, Microsoft Lists, a free service that anyone can access with a Microsoft account. However, since the tool is only available on the web, iOS, and Android, on Windows 11 (or 10), you will need to use the web app installation option.

Progressive web app refers to the technology that allows websites to offer an app-like experience to users, such as the ability to work offline, notifications, automatic updates, easy installation and uninstallation, and various other features.
