This weekend at the Sundance Film Festival is the world premiere of “jOBS”, an independent biographical movie of Steve Jobs, starring Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad as Apple’s co-founder. A first clip from the film has already been released to the public.
From director Joshua Michael Stern, the production tells the story of how Apple Inc. was born to change the world, and how it has impacted every aspect of our culture and our future.
The movie takes us to the early days in 1970 when Steve Jobs meets his friend and business partner Steve Wozniak (Josh Gad) at a HP’s parking garage, and the subsequent technological revolution.
The clip shows an argument between Jobs and Wozniak over the “operating system” that could give “freedom” to people to do what they want, but Wozniak, its creator, is not entirely convinced about people’s interest in computers.
“jOBS” is set for release on April 19 in U.S. theaters, the 37th anniversary of Steve Jobs’ co-founding of Apple Computer Company.
