On January 19, 2024, Windows 11 build 22635.3066 became available as the update KB5034209 in the Windows Insider Program Beta Channel. The update is not significant, but it includes some noticeable improvements and fixes.
According to the official changes, Windows 11 build 22635.3066 rolls out support for USB4 version 2 that introduces transfer speeds of up to 80Gbps (40Gpbs per lane with two lanes in each direction) through the now standard USB-Type C connector that uses a new physical layer architecture based on PAM3 signal encoding and newly defined 80Gbps active cables.
Microsoft previously unveiled the support for USB4 version 2 with the release of build 23615 on January 11 through the Dev Channel.
As part of the fixes, this flight fixes a tabtip.exe crash, which could impact the ability to input text on Windows 11. In Task Manager, the development team fixed the dragging issue and the crash in the Settings app due to the Narrator page bug, and in Voice Access, the team resolved a problem that caused the feature not to work properly.
This is not the only update Microsoft made available during the third week of January. The company also rolled out Windows 11 build 23619 in the Dev Channel with a new feature that brings PCs closer together with Android devices by adding the ability to access and edit photos from your phone directly into the Snipping Tool.
The update also introduced the ability to show upcoming meeting notifications from Microsoft Teams notifications in the Start menu, along with various fixes and improvements.

To download and install the Windows 11 build 22635.3066, enroll your device in the Beta Channel through the “Windows Insider Program” settings from the “Update & Security” section. Once you enroll the computer in the program, you can download the build from the “Windows Update” settings by turning on the “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” toggle switch and clicking the “Check for Updates” button.
