Microsoft Security Essentials 2 released, the best free antivirus!

Microsoft has officially released Security Essentials 2. Ever since its first release, about a year ago, Microsoft Security Essential has been gaining a lot of attention and popularity as one of the best free antivirus software today. For anyone using Windows, MSE 2 is one of the must have security and protection software. The latest version come with some great improvements, for example, there is a new scanning detection engine called heuristic, now the antivirus does not depends as much anymore on definition updates, with many threats coming out so often, MSE 2 can detect potential threats that were not yet identified — This does not mean that you don’t have to update, but you can have a better piece of mind knowing that you are better protected even without having the latest definition –. In the latest version, Microsoft Security Essentials 2 integrates with Windows Vista and Windows 7 Firewall to better protect you from the outside world (the internet) and the inside world (your local network), and there is a new network inspection feature that uses Windows Filtering Platform for only Windows 7 and vista machines.
