Set an Xbox One achievement art as Windows 10 wallpaper

Achievements on Xbox One are rewards that you earn as you complete different challenges on games. The requirements to earn new achievements will vary on every game, and completing an achievement will help you to increase your gamerscore and get other rewards, such as achievement arts, which on your Xbox One you can view, share, and set as your dashboard background.

However, even with the Xbox app, you can’t bring those earned achievement arts to Windows 10. You can view them and share with other people in the Xbox Live community, but you can’t easily download them to your desktop — that’s when the Achievement Arts app for Windows 10 comes in handy.

Achievement Art is an app available for Windows 10 that allows you to connect to your Xbox Live account and brings achievements you have earned in a single interface.

How to set achievements as background

Once you’re signed in to your Xbox Live account, you can browse all the games you have played or currently are playing since Xbox 360. To set an achievement art as your desktop wallpapers is as easy as clicking the download button from the bottom-right corner, and clicking either the “Download”, “Set as Lock Screen”, or “Set as wallpaper” button.

But, it’s worth to point out that the background arts are new to Xbox One, as such you can only set Xbox One game title arts as your desktop or Lock background within the app.

In addition, if you want, you can download all the images you like, create a theme and share it with your friends. To do this follow the steps below:

  1. Using the Achievement Art app download all the images you want to an empty folder.

  2. Select all the images, right-click the selection, and click on “Set as desktop wallpaper”.

  3. Then go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Personalization, right-click the “Unsaved theme”, and click “Save theme for sharing”. Pick a name and save the theme on your desktop.

  4. Finally, grab the theme pack and share it with your friends using OneDrive or via email.

Now, you can personalize your Windows experience a little more.
