Windows 10 Creators Update now available for all devices

Should you install the Windows 10 Creators Update on your PC? Microsoft just made it fully available, so Yes! Now, it's OK to get it.

Windows 10 Creators Update

Although the Windows 10 Creators Update (version 1703) originally launched on April 11, 2017, it was not broadly available. Since then, Microsoft has been gradually pushing the update to more compatible devices, and now, the company announces that the Creators Update is fully available for all devices running Windows 10.

The announcement is also meant for Windows 10 Enterprise customers, as the company says that “commercial customers should feel confident to deploy this release broadly across their organizations.”

Microsoft announces the broadly availability of the new version of Windows 10 just weeks before the release of the Fall Creators Update (version 1709), which is expected to rollout sometime in September.

If you’re still running the Anniversary Update (version 1607), it’s now the time to upgrade. Since the original release, the semi-annual update has received a number of quality updates fixing many of the issues, and by now it should be stable enough to run on your system.

The Windows 10 Creators Update is available through Windows Update, but if your device isn’t seeing the new version, there are still other ways to get it:
