Windows 10 preview build 9879: hands-on with the new features (video)

Microsoft has made available the last version of Windows 10 Technical Preview, the build 9879, for this year with a number of new tweaks, features, and changes. If you’re holding off to install the preview or if you’re just simply curious to know what’s new in the latest preview, I created a new hands-on video demonstrating the most relevant changes in build 9879.

The tech preview version 9879 packs a few additional changes since the last build 9860 released a few weeks ago. This video will walk you through some of this changes including:

  • New taskbar options
  • Improvements in File Explorer and Home
  • OneDrive new settings and changes
  • Notifications tweaks
  • New Storage Sense in PC settings
  • New Insider Hub app
  • Universal apps tweaks and more

Also don’t forget to check my Windows 10 coverage with a lot more information. And remember to keep checking back for more updates.

Although the Windows 10 preview build 9879 is the last build Microsoft is releasing this year, the company will continue working on the operating system and new releases will return in early next year with a full public release in mid-2015.
