Microsoft Remote Desktop Preview app arrives to Windows Phone 8.1

Microsoft Remote Desktop app for Windows Phone 8.1

Microsoft Remote Desktop app now available on Windows Phone 8.1 compatible devices after first releasing the app on Android and iOS. It was odd to see a software company releasing an app on its competitor platforms first rather that in its own, but it seems Microsoft was readying the remote access app for Windows Phone 8.1 update, which recently rolled out to developers.

The Remote Desktop app is available now as a Preview, meaning that the app still a work in progress, and users needs to have installed Windows Phone 8.1 on their devices.
