Xbox Games with Gold for August includes Warriors Orochi 3 and WWE 2K16

Games with Gold for August 2016 brings four new games to Xbox Live Gold members for a total of $120 in savings.

August 2016 Xbox Games with Gold

Xbox owners get over $120 worth of games in August. Xbox Live Gold members are getting four new free games as part of the Games with Gold program from Microsoft. For August 2016, you will be able to download Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, WWE 2K16, Spelunky, and Beyond Good & Evil HD.

As always, there are two games for Xbox One and two for Xbox 360, but remember that you can play all the Xbox 360 titles on your Xbox One console through Backward compatibility.

During the month of August 2016, Xbox One owners with an active Xbox Live Gold subscription can download WARRIORS OROCHI 3 Ultimate ($59.99 ERP) for free throughout the month. Then WWE 2K16 ($39.99 ERP) will be available as a free download from August 16th to September 15th.

On Xbox 360, starting August 1st and until August 15th, Microsoft is making available Spelunky ($19.99 ERP) as a free download. And finally, from August 16th and until the end of the month, you can download Beyond Good & Evil HD ($14.99 ERP) for free.

If you’re not yet an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, you can always find good deals on 12-month membership on Amazon.

While Microsoft is no longer making Xbox 360 consoles, you can still keep your game library going with a USB hard drive with up to 2TB to save games. And if your game library is outgrowing the physical storage capacity on your Xbox One, you can refer to my previous guide on how to set up an external hard drive on your Xbox One.
