Awesome news for gamers, Microsoft’s Major Nelson announced today that monthly free games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers is coming to Xbox One too. Microsoft has offered two free downloaded games for Xbox 360 Gold members since June, promotion which was scheduled to end on November 22nd, however the company made free games with Gold permanent. Now it seems Xbox One owners will get the same deal.
Larry Hryb didn’t give more specific details to how many free games will be available each month or how the promotion will work for that matter, but he did say that more details are coming in 2014. Currently Xbox Live Gold subscribers are allow to download two pre-selected games for free from the Xbox Marketplace, basically one new game every two weeks.
