Windows 7 for business to receive free security updates for an additional year
Businesses may continue to receive security updates for Windows 7 after the end of life for an additional year, if they have an active qualifying subscription.
Now, newly available support documentation (via ComputerWorld and Neowin) unveils a promotion that allows businesses to continue receiving updates post the 2020 end of life for free for an additional year.
The offer is straightforward, if you’re running an organization with an active Windows 10 Enterprise E5, Microsoft 365 E5, or Microsoft 365 E5 Security subscription, you are entitled to receive Windows 7 security updates for another year.
