What’s new on Windows 11 24H2 build 26120.4741
These are the latest changes that Microsoft has been working on for Windows 11 24H2.
Click to Do image description action
The new “Describe image” action for Click to Do uses AI to generate a description of an image, chart, or graph, which was previously only available for Copilot+ PCs with Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. However, with this release, it’s now also available for Intel and AMD AI-powered processors.
When selecting this new action for the first time, the system will have to configure another AI model that works on the device to generate the information.

Additionally, the company is experimenting with removing the search box from the top bar for Click to Do.
Narrator image description feature
Similar to the Click to Do action, Windows Narrator can now generate descriptions for images to assist further users who are blind or have low vision.

When pressing the “Narrator key + Ctrl + D” shortcut, the Narrator will read out a contextual description of the image, including people, objects, colors, text, and numbers.
The feature was first available for Copilot+ PCs using Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, but it is now rolling out for Intel and AMD AI-powered processors.
Lock Screen widgets suggestions
Build 26120.4741 for Windows 11 also introduces a new “Discover widgets” toggle switch in Settings > Personalization > Lock screen, which periodically updates the experience with suggested widgets.

Text and image AI generation activities
In this release, you’ll notice a new “Recent activity” option in Settings > Privacy & security > Text and image generation, which allows you to view recent requests to use text and image generation with AI from different third-party applications installed on your computer.

Other fixes and changes
In addition to visual changes and new features, the Windows 11 update KB5062678 also rolls out a few fixes and other improvements. For example, this update fixes content getting clipped when showing the clock in the Notification Center, and addresses an issue with “dbgcore.dll,” which could cause crashes with “explorer.exe.”
While this build introduces some new improvements for version 24H2, it also brings several known issues across core experiences like Start menu, Xbox Controllers, Click to Do, Live Captions, and more.
