- Windows 11 build 28020.2308 has been released in the Beta channel with fixes and improvements for version 26H1.
- Build 28120.2315 also releases for version 26H1 with a small set of changes, but this preview is available in the Experimental channel.
Microsoft is now making available Windows 11 Insider Preview builds 28020.2308 and 28120.2315 for version 26H1 via the Beta and Experimental channels in the Windows Insider Program. These flights introduce new features and improvements for existing experiences.
According to the official notes, Windows 11 build 28020.2308 (Beta) is a small maintenance update focused on stability rather than new features.
It introduces general bug fixes and under-the-hood improvements to enhance overall system reliability. The most notable change is an update to the inbox HD Audio driver, which improves its stability and reduces potential audio-related issues across supported hardware configurations.
In addition, build 28120.2315 is rolling out in the Experimental channel and follows the same maintenance-first approach, but includes slightly broader refinements.
It improves the reliability of the inbox HD Audio driver, continuing the effort to stabilize system audio handling. In addition, accessibility receives a refinement where live captions now respond more quickly to style changes, immediately redrawing when settings are adjusted, and showing a sample caption when no active captions are present.
The rest of the update focuses on small bug fixes and incremental polish across the operating system.
