  • Bing gets new AI features for search results.
  • These features include new cards and stories.
  • Bing Chat also received various updates.

Microsoft makes various available updates to Bing search results with Knowledge Cards 2.0 and Stories powered by AI. Also, the chatbot experience receives several fixes and improvements.

According to the company,  the knowledge cards now generate their information through Bing AI. These are the cards that appear on the right-hand side of the Bing search results page with facts, image-based timelines, polls, actions, and related topics.

In addition, on search results pages, you will now see stories that provide information generated using AI to consume small amounts of data (text, images, video, and audio) from a specific topic. This feature is available in English, French, Japanese, German, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, and Arabic.

As part of the Bing Chat experience, the company has resolved a few issues. For example, it’s now easier to copy chat text from the mobile app on iOS devices. The update improves voice detection in the Bing mobile apps, so messages aren’t sent before you are done speaking. Furthermore, the update fixes an issue where Bing search queries would inadvertently trigger a chat with the same question when you scroll up.

The updates are available now when using Bing.com and the Bing mobile app.
