On Windows 11, you can do more than changing the size of the mouse pointer. You can also customize the pointer with virtually any color to make it more personal and useful.

You can customize various aspects of the mouse pointer, including the color and size, through the Accessibility settings. In addition, it’s still possible to use the legacy settings to change the mouse scheme.

Change mouse color on Windows 11

To change the mouse pointer color on Windows 11, use these steps:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Click on Accessibility.

  3. Click the Mouse pointer and touch tab.

  4. Under the “Mouse pointer” section, select the Custom option.

    Quick note: You can also choose from three other styles, including White, Black, and Inverted.
  5. Select one of the recommended colors.

  6. (Optional) Click the “Choose another color” option to create a custom color for the mouse pointer.

Once you complete the steps, the new color will apply to the mouse pointer.

Change mouse size on Windows 11

To change the mouse pointer size on Windows 11, use these steps:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Click on Accessibility.

  3. Click the Mouse pointer and touch tab.

  4. Under the “Mouse pointer” section, use the Size slider to change the size of the mouse pointer on Windows 11.

Alternatively, you can also change the size and style using the legacy Pointers settings on Windows 11. Here’s how:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Click on Personalization.

  3. Click the Themes tab.

  4. Click the Mouse cursor option.

  6. Use the “Scheme” drop-down menu and select one of the available themes and sizes, including Black, Default, Inverted, and Standard.
