On Windows 11, it’s possible to install the Google Bard AI chatbot as an app, and this guide will teach you how. Similar to Bing Chat, Bard is a conversational chatbot that uses natural language to provide more human conversational answers to complex questions.
Although the company is working to integrate the chatbot directly into its Chrome browser, the technology doesn’t have a dedicated desktop application. However, you can always install the Bard AI experience as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
Progressive web app refers to the technology that allows you to install a website as a native app on your computer. Some of the benefits of this approach include the ability to work offline, notifications, automatic updates, easy installation and uninstallation, and various other features. However, it is up to the developer to implement these functionalities.
In this guide, you will learn how to install (and uninstall) the Bard app as a PWA on Windows 11.
