Up until now the Microsoft Edge browser was available on iPhone and Android phones, and as preview for iPad devices, but now, Microsoft is releasing its modern browser to everyone using an iPad or Android tablets.
Microsoft Edge on iPad and Android tablets is the same version as the browser on phones but scaled up to work in larger displays. In addition, you’re also getting similar features, including “Continue on PC” to pick up whatever you’re doing on your tablet on your computer, the option to switch between the light and dark theme, password syncing between devices, and Reading View and Reading List are supported on both platforms.
Although the browser is now available to everyone, it’s still a work in progress, and it includes basic features and lacks some support. For example, on iPads, you won’t be able to Edge in split mode alongside another application.
You can download Microsoft Edge for Android tablets from the Google Play Store, or the iPad version from the Apple’s App Store.
