Pin Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and AOL to the Start screen in Mail Windows 8 app

Win 8 IMAP Mail

The Mail Windows 8 app is a simple and really useful email client that comes bundled with the operating system, and with every update more features become available. One of these features that you might not have noticed is that after adding your Outlook, Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, AOL and even IMAP email accounts, anyone can pin each account to the Start screen. This will make it easier to glance how many unread emails someone has per account or just to get a faster access to a specific account. Follow these steps to accomplish this task:

Instructions

1. While in the Mail app for Windows 8 select or tap on one of the email accounts.

2. Right-click or swipe up from bottom of the screen to bring the app commands and click Pin to Start.
