If you’re using Microsoft Teams for real-time collaboration and messaging with colleagues, there are many ways to schedule meeting, but the easiest method is to perform the task within the app.
Using the Teams apps to schedule a work meeting, you can select a channel allowing the entire team to join, or you can invite people individually. You can use the Scheduling assistant, which shows all attendees availability that can help you find the time that works for everyone. Also, when you schedule the meeting, a post will appear in “Posts” in the selected channel and the agenda, content, notes and recordings are all captured in the channel.

How to schedule meeting on Microsoft Teams
To schedule a meeting on Teams, use these steps:

Open Microsoft Teams.

Click on Calendar.

Click on New meeting button from the top-right corner.

Use the “Time zone” drop-down menu and select the time zone (if applicable).

Specify a title for the meeting.

(Optional) Add the people who will be attending to the meeting. You can add people from your contact list, or you can invite other people by adding their email address.

Specify the start and end date and time.

(Optional) Click the Scheduling Assistant tab.

Choose the time to host meeting that works for everyone by reviewing all attendees availability.

(Optional) Select when to repeat the same meeting.

Select the channel to host the Teams meeting.
Quick tip: You can’t edit the channel once you the invite is sent. You’ll need to create a new event and send new invites to change the channel. -
(Optional) Specify a location. (Usually, this is the name of the office room.)

Specify additional details about the meeting as necessary.

Click the Send button.
Once you complete the steps, the meeting schedule will be created with the details you specified, and the it’ll appear in the Posts section of the channel.
