Microsoft has released firmware update for its Surface Go 2 with some improvements to improve the pen performance when your palm is on the device and overall system stability.
Surface Go 2 June 2020 update
The following improvements are available for Surface Go 2:
- Surface Touch – Firmware 18.104.22.168: Improves pen performance when your palm is on the device.
- Surface UEFI – Firmware 22.214.171.124: Improves system stability.
The update should download and install automatically, but if you have not received it, then you get it from Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and try to force the download manually.
The base model comes with an Intel Pentium Gold processor that starts at $399.99, but you can also choose the better model featuring an 8th generation Core m3 processor, which should give you over 60 percent more performance.
