Microsoft is making available the Windows 11 build 25330 for computers enrolled in the Canary Channel of the Windows Insider Program. This is a minor update, but it includes various improvements and some visual changes.
Build 25330 for Windows 11, according to the official changes, introduces a redesigned “Wheel” page in the “Bluetooth & devices” section to match the Windows 11 new design language. This flight also opens the Snipping Tool by default when pressing the “Print Screen” key on the keyboard and brings improvements for Windows Sandbox, Remote Desktop, and BitLocker, and you can now uninstall the Camera app.
In addition, Windows 11 build 25330 enables a new version of the Microsoft Store app with various improvements, including the ability to install free apps and games from search results, a new design when purchasing apps and games, and a new interface for in-app rating dialog.
Windows 11 build 25330 changes
These are all the new changes and improvements for the latest release of Windows 11 in the Canary Channel.
As part of the Settings app improvements, starting with build 25330, pressing the “Print Screen” key on the keyboard will open the Snipping Tool by default.
Also, the “Wheel” page that houses the settings for devices like the Surface Dial in the “Bluetooth & devices” section matches the Windows 11 new design language.
If you change the primary mouse button under Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mouse, Windows Sandbox will now follow that setting.
The Remote Desktop Connection setup window (mstsc.exe) has been updated to follow the text scaling settings under Settings > Accessibility > Text Size. In cases where the text scaling is very large, it will show a scrollbar.
When using BitLocker encryption on Windows 11, you can now minimize the encryption progress dialog, and you can now uninstall the Camera app if you need to.
Finally, for devices enrolled in the Dev or Canary Channel, an update of the Microsoft Store app is rolling out with the ability to install free apps and games from search results by hovering over the other product and clicking the “Install” button. Also, you will find a new design when purchasing apps and games and a new interface for the in-app rating dialog.
Install build 25330
If you want to download and install the Windows 11 build 25330, enroll your device in the Canary Channel using the “Windows Insider Program” settings from the “Windows Update” section.
Once you enroll the computer in the program, you can download build 25330 from the “Windows Update” settings by clicking the “Check for Updates” button. However, you will need a device that meets the minimum system requirements to receive the update if you are new to the Windows Insider Program.
