  • To remotely lock your Windows 11 PC, connect your Android phone using the Phone Link app. Enable the “Remote PC controls” feature in the Windows 11 “Mobile devices” settings, then use the “Link to Windows” app on Android to lock the PC.
  • This requires Phone Link version 1.25062.83.0 or later and Link to Windows beta version 1.25071.155 or later.

On Windows 11, you can now remotely lock your computer using your Android app. In this guide, I’ll show you the process to complete this configuration.

As part of the “Phone Link” and “Link to Windows” app integration, Microsoft has updated the experience with more functionalities, including the ability to lock your PC.

At the time of this writing, this feature, along with others (such as the ability to send and receive files more easily and clipboard access), is available through the Windows Insider Program (any channel) and requires Phone Link version 1.25062.83.0 or higher, as well as the Link to Windows (beta) app version 1.25071.155 or higher.

You will also need to connect your Android phone to the Phone Link app on Windows 11 and enable the “Remote PC controls” option from the “Mobile devices” feature.

In this guide, I’ll show you the steps to quickly lock your Windows 11 PC remotely, and the steps to make it all work.
