Xbox 360 free games for January: Sleeping Dogs and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

Xbox 360 free games with Gold for January 2014

In the first month of 2014, January, Xbox Live Gold members are getting two new Xbox 360 games for free: “Sleeping Dogs” and “Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light”

The first free game is Sleeping Dogs, normally the game cost $19.99, and it will be available for download from January 1st until the 15th. Then from January 16th and until the end of month, Xbox Live Gold members will able to download Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Normally the game cost $14.99.

Just as a reminder, months ago Microsoft started offering 2 free Xbox 360 games each month, but it was going to last only until the release of Xbox One. Due to success, Microsoft decided to make the promotion permanent, and some time in 2014 the company is also planning to offer 2 free games but for Xbox One – So stay tune for that!

Remember that these titles will be available for a limited time. You can do your free purchase via the Xbox 360 dashboard or via Xbox.com. Also, as Microsoft has already moved away from Points into local currency, if you don’t have a payment option (online), you’ll be forced to add a credit card information even though the games are free.
