Xbox 360 free games for September: Magic 2013 and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas

September 2013 Xbox Live Gold free games

Here is another round of free games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers as Microsoft promised it will do each month until the Xbox One launch in November. For September 2013, the company is making available two new games: from Sept. 1st and until the 15th, gamers will be able to download Magic 2013 (a.k.a Magic: The Gathering, duels of the planeswalkers 2013), a popular multiplayer fantasy card title from the Xbox Live Arcade catalog. Regular price $9.99.

Here is Microsoft’s description: “Face a greater challenge in the 2013 version of this hit franchise. Play with friends or the AI, take on encounters and opponents, and face up to three other players in the Planechase multiplayer format. Featuring ten customizable decks, Magic 2013 offers game items to unlock and introduces the option to choose what lands to tap when you cast your spells.”

Starting September 16th and until the end of the month, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas. Although this title was released 2006 and now is part of the Platinum Hits priced at $19.99, it’s perhaps one of the best shooting games for Xbox 360, IGN gave it a 9.3 score. This game offers single player experience, multiplayer, and co-op.

Remember that these titles will be available for a limited time. You can do your free purchase via the Xbox 360 dashboard or via Xbox.com. Also, as Microsoft has already moved away from Points into local currency, if you don’t have a payment option, you’ll be forced to add a credit card information even though the games are free.
